BARS ON CHAD T

LEFT: CRICKET (ASSISTANT DIRECTOR) RIGHT: CHAD TENNIES (DIRECTOR)

This was my first time working with Chris Webby and I must say he is one the most professional artist I've had the pleasure to work with. When I first got the track from the producers I knew the visual had to be crazy. The song has a sick sample on the beat that has a real Middle Eastern/Indian vibe to it. We decided to go with a performance based look for "Bars On Me" and use strong imagery to carry to video.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! This was such an important part of this video. I really wanted to bring the viewer into a different world, I wanted to get everyone out of that "American" city type of rap video.

I had the opportunity to work with Atlanta based Cinematographer Colin Quinn for the first time. I was originally introduced to him through Atlanta based director Decatur Dan. From the work I had seen I thought Colin had the right style for this project. He brought out a great team of G&E guys, and used some really sick home made LED's that just blew my mind (Game Changer). Over all this was a sick project, I am so happy I was able to Direct this video. Many more to come!!!

CHANGE THE WORLD......CHANGE THE EDIT

ROOF TOP SCENE CHRIS WEBBY "CHANGE THE WORLD"

"Change The World" was the second project I got to work with Chris Webby on. When I was asked to direct this project I really wanted to go somewhere different. I was really happy with how our previous project "Bars on Me" turned out. But since "Bars On Me" was such a heavy performance video I decided to make "Change The World" a story driven visual with a strong narrative.

Off the bat, I knew with the schedule and budget, both David and Brandon (Producers) had a pretty daunting task in front of them. The treatment was very ambitious so with the given circumstances, everything had to be planned out to the T.

When it came to picking a Director of Photography for this project I really wanted to use someone that came from more of a narrative background. I wanted to make a film, not just a music video. I had worked with a guy named Jarrett Morgan on a few sets with as an AC and was very impressed. when i got to looking at some of his work as a Dp i knew he was the guy for the job.

Over all i am really happy with how the project has turned out. I cant wait for the video to drop, so look out everyone and get ready to watch a movie.
